    Lotto Zone Casino Review

Lotto Zone is a misleadingly named site in that you’d expected it to be one stuffed with bingo and possibly keno and other lottery-based games. In reality it transpires to be a generic online casino where there is a preponderance of slots and a few table games. There is no crime in that of course but it does mean that many players will alight on the homepage of Lotto Zone with a misleading impression. Despite the logo for the site resembling a series of bingo balls, there is very little to be found on the site that follows up on this theme.

Instead there is a whole bunch of video slots to be played here including many of the latest games from Swedish developer NetEnt. You can try for example such branded slots as Game of Thrones and Jurassic World. These games are complemented by a few progressive jackpot slots, some scratch cards, some table games and a few live options. All told, there’s more than enough here to keep players entertained for a while even if there is not a single lotto or lottery-based game in sight.

    About Lotto Zone

Lotto Zone is operated by ProgressPlay who are a company based in Malta – in fact they are based in the capital of Valletta. The site holds a licence issued by the Malta Gaming Authority plus another licence issued by the UK Gambling Commission which allows ProgressPlay to target British-based gamblers. The site was launched in 2011 which is evident from looking around it. Back then, sites weren't fully optimised for mobile play and the text areas in particular on Lotto Zone aren’t suited to mobile.

The text is far too small and related elements such as shadow effects and old typefaces really don't do this site any favours. What Lotto Zone could really do with is a complete makeover but by the looks of it it isn't going to get one anytime soon. In addition to English, the site is available in Swedish and German. If you require customer support incidentally, there is a contact submission form on the website which technically means you can get customer support 24 hours a day, although don't expect to get a reply in a hurry if you happen to message the casino in the dead of night. There is also a live chat facility.

    Euros, Dollars and Krona

There are plenty of deposit options available at Lotto Zone, that much can be said for certain. The site accepts deposits made in pounds, euros, dollars and Swedish krona and takes credit and debit cards. This means you can deposit funds using Visa, Mastercard or Maestro plus Paybyphone which is a mobile option available for UK players. In the case of this latter option you can deposit between £10 and £30 a day. Other deposit methods at your disposal include Neteller, Skrill, iDeal, Sofort, Paysafecard, Trustly and Instadebit.

There’s around half a dozen other deposit options over and above this, many of which are designed for specific territories where Lotto Zone is marketed. When it comes to cashing out, you can use the same withdrawal methods in many cases but it should be noted that this site is extremely sluggish when it comes to processing withdrawal requests. There is a three business day “Pending” period just to get the ball rolling and then an additional one business day for processing. After that the fastest you’ll receive refunds is within one more business day in the case of something such as Neteller. If the withdrawal request is by credit or debit card will take another 6 business days which equates to 10 business days in total which in real world terms mean it will take you around two weeks to get your cash.

    Welcome is Worth €200

You can claim a 100% welcome bonus worth up to €200 when you sign up at Lotto Zone. This cash is subject to a 50 times wagering requirement before it can be withdrawn. The remaining generic promotions to be found at Lotto Zone are particularly unappealing, especially if you visit a bunch of other sites operated by ProgressPlay. For example you can claim one entitled Monday Madness, there is also an extreme blackjack marathon, another called “Cool fun in the hot sun” and there is a weekly surprise which is dispensed every Tuesday.

Lotto Zone Casino Bonus and Promotion

    Welcome Bonus

Every Wednesday the game of the day award players free spins, there is live dealer cashback of up to 30% on weekends and there is a happy hour and a golden ball roulette tournament to round off proceedings. Although there is a good number of promotions to be tried on the site, they are just so generic and cliched that it is hard to imagine any player getting excited at the prospect of these bonuses.

    Play For Fun

The featured games at Lotto Zone are the same featured games that appear on all of the sites that ProgressPlay operate. You can play games for fun before putting in some money of your own and choosing to play for real cash. Naturally, NetEent games get the most attention here because these are by far the best games on the site. In fact the remaining slots are unimpressive and are unlikely to hold your attention. There is a section for favourites and a section reserved for new games as well. You've also got a range of progressive jackpot slots which don't look particularly great but at least there are some decent sums to be won here.

Aside from slots and progressive jackpot slots, there is a casino at Lotto Zone which mostly has roulette and blackjack plus a small selection of video poker. The table games don't look particularly great it's got to be said, but there’s at least enough year to keep the average player entertained for a while. As for the live casino, again it's all roulette and blackjack. There's nothing wrong with these games per se but it is a shame that there aren’t some alternatives such as baccarat or poker to keep players entertained.

    Lotto Zone Conclusion

Lotto Zone is another poor and out of date site from a developer who specialise in releasing poor and out of date sites. The site is still playable on desktop but it doesn't look great and there’s nothing here there that is likely to appeal to the average casino player. There are way too many buttons and logos and featured sliders and just stuff which adds nothing to the gaming experience here.

The site looks crowded and cluttered and yet there's nothing of interest here. There’s a reasonable range of deposit options and yet there is nothing about Lotto Zone which stands out. You’ll have a far better experience playing at any one of the other sites hosted by more capable gaming operators.
